Client Accountant
Seattle, WA | Hybrid (3 Days In Office)
$75,000 - $90,000 + Bonus
Join a growing and highly respected advisory organization that partners with successful individuals, families, and nonprofit entities. Due to continued growth, our client is adding a Client Accountant to their collaborative accounting team.
This role is ideal for an accountant who enjoys combining technical accounting with client interaction. You'll manage a portfolio of nonprofit and foundation accounts, work directly with stakeholders, and play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting and exceptional service.
Responsibilities

Manage accounting activities for nonprofit organizations, private foundations, and related entities
Prepare month-end close, reconciliations, financial statements, and reporting packages
Monitor cash activity, grants, disbursements, and fund balances
Track restricted and unrestricted funds
Coordinate invoice processing, payments, and financial transactions
Support audits, tax reporting, and special projects
Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients and internal partners
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Nonprofit and\/or private foundation accounting experience required
- Strong understanding of GAAP and nonprofit accounting
- Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience is a plus
